Simon Zoric and Ryan Hancock are included in 'Shuffle' at Artbank, Melbourne

We are thrilled to share that Ryan Hancock and Simon Zoric are included in the exhibition Shuffle, at Artbank Melbourne, on view between 7 September – 30 October.
Artbank Melbourne presents a selection of recently accessioned artworks, as they prepare to enter circulation, ready to be leased. Artbank is a unique program within the federal government, that supports living Australian artists by acquiring their work. Works are then leased to clients around Australia and the world to generate revenue as a self-sustaining artist support program.

As an extension of our visible storage model, the new acquisitions will be exhibited in our Melbourne gallery and replenished as they are leased. The exhibition is a temporary arrangement rather than a fixed position or statement. As these works lease, they will be replaced – or shuffled – with older pieces from our collection, presenting the exhibition in a perpetually changing form.
By bringing new art into dialogue with the old, Shuffle highlights the diversity of materials, breadth of practice, and artistic voices that comprise our ever-moving collection.

The exhibition includes works by: Gene A'Hern, Jacobus Capone, Hayley Panangka Coulthard, Sean Crowley, Mikala Dwyer, Amelia Gill, Dianne Ungukalpi Golding, Ryan Hancock, Joshua Harvey, Anna Higgins, Visaya Hoffie, Kez Hughes, Lucina Lane, Shannon Lyons, Tessa MacKay, Sam Martin, Ruth O'Leary, Madeleine Peters, Tom Phillips, Nina Radonja, Aisha Sherman-Noth, Armie Sungvaribud, Anne Nginyangka Thompson, Marian Tubbs, Alex Walker, Roy Yaltjanki, Simon Zoric
